1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EpicVids ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. EpicVids is operated by EpicVids ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

EpicVids is an AI-powered video creation platform that allows users to plan, generate, and export videos using artificial intelligence models. The Service includes chat-based scene planning, image and video generation, character consistency features, and video rendering and export capabilities.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Credits and Payments

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are purchased through Stripe and are non-refundable except as required by law. Credits do not expire. Prices may change at any time, but purchased credits retain their value.

Credits are consumed when you use AI generation features including scene planning, keyframe generation, video generation, and rendering. The credit cost for each operation is displayed before you initiate it.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate illegal, harmful, or prohibited content
• Create content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
• Generate deepfakes or misleading content intended to deceive
• Produce content depicting minors in inappropriate contexts
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits or credit systems
• Use automated tools to access the Service without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

6. Intellectual Property

Videos and images you create using the Service are yours. However, we retain rights to the Service itself, including all software, algorithms, and interfaces. AI-generated content may be subject to the terms of the underlying AI model providers.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. AI model availability depends on third-party providers and may change. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, any unused credits are forfeited.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
